Project description:Human hepatocarcinomas (HCCs) of different histological grades and tumour-adjacent non-neoplastic liver tissues (FFPE samples of surgical specimens) were analysed by array-based comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH) versus human male genomic DNA to identify high-frequency chromosomal aberrations in the tumors and initial chromosomal imbalances in the tumor-adjacent non-neoplastic liver tissues.
Project description:Gene expression profiling was performed to analyse human hepatocarcinomas (HCCs) of different histological grades and tumor-adjacent non-neoplastic liver tissues (FFPE samples from surgical specimens). Genes differently expressed in tumors versus adjacent non-neoplastic tissues were used for following bioinformatic analyses.
Project description:To investigate the mechanisms of liver cancer progression and metastasis, we did expression profiling of human liver cancer and benign tissues. Keywords: gene expression array-based (RNA / in situ oligonucleotide)
Project description:We evaluated the expression of known human miRNAs in human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and normal hepatic tissues from southeast China, and identified the differentially expressed miRNAs in HCC tissues. We use microRNA array platform from CapitalBio Corp. to access the miRNA expression profiles in HCC and non-tumor liver samples from Southeast China. There were 5 HCC samples and 3 non-tumor liver samples in our study. As the microarray platform we used was based on a older version of miRBase, we mapped the probe sequences to a newer version of miRBase before these data was applied to further analysis.
Project description:Illumina-based RNA-Seq analysis of 93 liver samples. Biopsies of tumors and non-tumor tissues are included. Samples are stratified by response and non-response to TACE treatment.
Project description:The expression of long non-coding RNAs - lncRNAs - was profiled in the liver cancer Hepatocellular Carcinoma - HCC - and in normal liver tissues using the Invitrogen NCode Human lncRNA Array Platform.

Project description:RNA-seq analysis of human liver tumors and adjacent non-tumor liver tissues
Project description:Transcriptomic analysis of fresh breast cancer tissue versus normal tissues. The Study comprising 45 Saudi-Arabian subjects was designed to take advantage of transcriptomics to prospectively explore the roles of lifestyle and genetic susceptibility in the occurrence of breast cancer. Total RNA isolated from 45 surgically resected breast cancer tissues and 8 healthy breast tissues (3 from Affymetrix) and purified, labeled, and hybridized to Affymetrix Human Gene 1.0 ST Array.
Project description:Array CGH containing 4,044 human bacterial artificial chromosome clones was used to assess different copy number changes between chemotherapy responsive and non-resposive breast cancer tissues. Keywords: Array CGH
Project description:In this study RNAseq was used for studying the transcriptome profile of primary liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs) isolated from non-lesioned non-tumorous liver tissues (considered as healthy) and from cirrhotic liver explants (ethanol etiology). Results showed different transcriptomic profile between two populations of LSECs with 1374 significant deregulated genes (fold-change>1.5 and p-vale<0.05) in cirrhotic-LSECs compared with healthy-LSECs.
