Transcription profiling of flowers from Arabidopsis Col-4 plants

ABSTRACT: As part of the CAGE consortium, fully opened flowers from Arabidopsis thaliana Col-4 plants at the developmental stage 6.50 (Boyes stage) were hybridized against the oligo reference labeled with Cy3. The flower samples in addition to the leaf, whole shoot, and roots samples from other CAGE members provide a basal/normal genomic expression pattern for the Col-4 wildtype plants.

Project description:As part of the CAGE consortium, the rosettes of Col-4 samples (1.12 or 5.10 stage) were dried to 60% of their original mass and leaves 1 and 2 were harvested. Control plants were used to extrapolate the mass proportion of leaves 1+2 to the rest of the rosette and those leaves (1&2) were harvested. Hybridizations were performed using the oligo reference labeled with Cy3. The stress samples can be analyzed together with the basal/normal genomic expression patterns for Col-4 wildtype plants collectively produced by CAGE members.
