Effect of HdIV or MdBV injection on the Spodoptera frugiperda fat body transcriptome


ABSTRACT: Comparison of the effects of 2 polydnaviruses (HdIV vs MdBV) injection on L5 Spodoptera frugiperda larvae fat body transcriptome. The experimental design is as follows: 3 biological replicates with dye swap. Each treatment (HdIV or MdBv) is compared to control treatment (PBS).

The Polydnaviridae is a family of double-stranded DNA viruses that are symbionts of parasitoid wasps. The family is currently divided into two genera, the Ichnovirus (IV) and Bracovirus (BV), which are associated with wasps in the families Ichneumonidae and Braconidae, respectively.
