Salinity stress inducible genes in rice


ABSTRACT: 44K oligo microarray analysis was performed for monitoring salinity stressM-bM-^@M-^Sinducible genes in rice. Two-condition, 0 h or 1 h treatment of 150mM NaCl in shoot or in root. Two dye swapped experiments were performed.

<h4>Background</h4>Microarray technology is limited to monitoring the expression of previously annotated genes that have corresponding probes on the array. Computationally annotated genes have not fully been validated, because ESTs and full-length cDNAs cannot cover entire transcribed regions.
