Murine bone marrow gene expression profiling


ABSTRACT: Mice have been treated with olaptesed pegol (NOX-A12). Whole BM cells have been harvested, RNA isolated, and gene expression profiling was performed on cDNA using Mouse Genome 430 2.0 array. Untreated mice have been used as control. Bone marrow (BM) metastasis remains one of the main causes of death associated with solid tumors as well as multiple myeloma (MM). Targeting the BM niche to prevent or modulate metastasis has not been successful to date.
