Erythropoiesis is dependent on the activity of transcription factors, including the erythroid-specific erythroid Kruppel-like factor (EKLF). ChIP followed by massively parallel sequencing (ChIP-Seq) is a powerful, unbiased method to map trans-factor occupancy.
