Transcription profiling of human MCF7/BUS cell culture exposed to xenoestrogens


ABSTRACT: MCF7 cells were exposed to xenoestrogens (vehicle = 0.1% ethanol, 30 pM 17beta-estradiol, 3 micromolar genistein, 10 micromolar genistein, 1 micomolar daidzein, 10 nM bisphenol A, 10 nM para-nonylphenol, 3 nM PPT) for 48 hours. Experiment Overall Design: MCF7/BUS cells were exposed to xenoestrogens for 48 hours. Experiments were repeated three times independently.

To obtain insights into similarities and differences in the biological actions of related drugs or toxic agents, their transcriptomal signature profiles (TSPs) have been examined in a large number of studies.
