Transcription profiling of 24 hour time series of phosphate limitation in Halobacterium salinarum


ABSTRACT: The experiment was intended to reveal the transcriptional changes of H. salinarum cells in response to phosphate limitation. Because nothing was known neither about the nature of transcriptional changes nor about the kinetic of it, we analysed the transcriptome dynamics over a time range of 24 hours.

Phosphate is essential for life on earth, since it is an integral part of important biomolecules.
