Bacterial aggregation facilitates internalin-mediated invasion strategy of Listeria monocytogenes


ABSTRACT: L. monocytogenes is a food-borne pathogen which causes listeriosis. The aim of this study was to investigate the global gene expression changes in L. monocytogenes in response to spent and fresh media, in the wild-type and non-aggregating actA-DC strain.
