ABSTRACT: In this study, gene expression changes during CIN progression were investigated, for the first time, in naturally HPV16-infected CIN2, CIN3 keratinocytes derived from high-grade CIN2 and CIN3 lesions using microarray analysis. Thirty-seven genes with continuously increasing or decreasing during CIN carcinogenetic progression were identified. Among these genes, PHGDH, is likely to be associated with tumorigenesis and may be a potential prognostic marker for CIN progression.
