Transcription profiling by microarray of human A549 lung cancer cells treated with IrCl(Cp*)(phbzIm) or vehicle for 6 hours
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: A new organometallic complex with antitumoral properties were studied. This is an Iridium half-sandwich complex with a pentamethylcyclopentadienyl ligand (Cp*), a chloride group, and a phenylbenzimidazole ligand (phbzIm) (IrCl(Cp*)(phbhzIm)). We investigated the effects on gene expression to elucidate the pathways initiated 6 hours after treatment with IrCl(Cp*)(phbzIm) or vehicle (DMSO). RNA of samples were extracted and maintained at -80ºC. Gene expression profiles were determined by Afflymetrix Human Gene 2.1 S.T. Array Plate
