Transcription profiling of mouse macropages infected with Bacillus anthrasis


ABSTRACT: B.anthracis is able to grow and infect through macrophages, and it is unclear how the bacterium is able to escape the normal killing function of the macrophage. We hope the identification of novel genes will help us to understand the pathogenesis.

Interactions between Bacillus anthracis and host macrophages represent critical early events in anthrax pathogenesis, but their details are not clearly understood.
