Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a highly lethal malignancy with limited therapy options. TWIST1, a key transcriptional factor of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), contributes to self-renewal of cancer stem-like cells (CSCs), chemo-resistance, metastasis, and TNBC-related death.
