An adaptive finite time trajectory tracking control method is presented for underactuated unmanned marine surface vessels (MSVs) by employing neural networks to approximate system uncertainties. The proposed algorithm is developed by combining event-triggered control (ETC) and finite-time convergence (FTC) techniques.
