Developing an effective therapy to overcome carbapenemase-positive <i>Klebsiella pneumoniae</i> (CPKp) is an important therapeutic challenge that must be addressed urgently. Here, we explored a Ca-EDTA combination with aztreonam or ceftazidime-avibactam <i>in vitro</i> and <i>in vivo</i> against diverse CPKp clinical isolates.
