Warming shifts the thermal optimum of net photosynthesis (T<sub>optA</sub>) to higher temperatures. However, our knowledge of this shift is mainly derived from seedlings grown in greenhouses under ambient atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO<sub>2</sub>) conditions.
