ABSTRACT: We present a genome assembly from an individual male Allacma fusca (the springtail; Arthropoda; Collembola; Symphypleona; Sminthuridae). The genome sequence is 392.8 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 6 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X ₁ and X ₂ sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 14.94 kilobases in length.
