Myeloid hematopoiesis is a finely controlled consecutive developmental process, which is essential to maintain peripheral innate immune homeostasis. Herein, we found that Rictor deletion caused the remarkable reduction of granulocyte-monocyte progenitors (GMPs), monocytes, and macrophages, while the levels of neutrophils were unaffected.
