ABSTRACT: A 15-year-old girl with history of asthma and obesity presented with recurrent anasarca without systolic heart failure or significant renal disease. She was diagnosed with constrictive pericarditis and successfully underwent pericardiectomy with pericardial stripping and a waffle procedure. (Level of Difficulty: Advanced.).
