Oxytocin-expressing paraventricular hypothalamic neurons (PVN<sup>OT</sup> neurons) integrate afferent signals from the gut, including cholecystokinin (CCK), to adjust whole-body energy homeostasis. However, the molecular underpinnings by which PVN<sup>OT</sup> neurons orchestrate gut-to-brain feeding control remain unclear.
