Strain engineering beyond substrate limitation of colossal magnetoresistant thin (La<sub>0.6</sub>Pr<sub>0.4</sub>)<sub>0.7</sub>Ca<sub>0.3</sub>MnO<sub>3</sub> (LPCMO) films on LaAlO<sub>3</sub>-buffered SrTiO<sub>3</sub> (LAO/STO) substrates has been demonstrated using metalorganic aerosol deposition technique.
