Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) is a severe, post-infectious sequela of SARS-CoV-2 infection<sup>1,2</sup>, yet the pathophysiological mechanism connecting the infection to the broad inflammatory syndrome remains unknown.
