Moraxella nonliquefaciens, a commensal organism of the upper respiratory tract, is generally considered to have low pathogenic potential. We report here two cases of severe endophthalmitis occurring 9 years and 2 months after glaucoma filtration surgery, respectively. Apart from sulfonamide, very low MICs were recorded for several antibiotics tested.
