ABSTRACT: Corynebacterium freneyi is a recently described alpha-glucosidase-positive species of the genus CORYNEBACTERIUM: To our knowledge, there is no description of human infection due to this species. We report on a case of bacteremia due to C. freneyi following vascular surgery.
