Terminal RNA uridylyltransferases (TUTases) are functionally and structurally diverse nucleotidyl transferases that catalyze template-independent 3' uridylylation of RNAs. Within the DNA polymerase beta-type superfamily, TUTases are closely related to non-canonical poly(A) polymerases.
