ABSTRACT: Surface-functionalized nanoparticles enhance the rate of electron transfer (ET) between Cyt c(Fe(2+)) and Co(phen)(3)(3+) by a factor of 10(5) through simultaneous electrostatic binding of an ET donor and acceptor.
