Abstract Angiotensin II (AngII), via the AngII type 1 receptor (AT(1)R), contributes to oxidative stress. Aerobic exercise training (AEXT) reduces the risk of cardiovascular (CV) disease, presumably by reducing the grade of oxidative stress.
