(4R)-4-(2-Allyl-2H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)-1,2-O-isopropyl-idene-l-threose.

ABSTRACT: X-ray crystallography unequivocally confirmed the structure of the title compound, C(12)H(17)N(3)O(4), as (4R)-4-(2-allyl-2H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)-1,2-O-isopropyl-idene-l-threose. The absolute configuration was determined by the use of d-glucorono-3,6-lactone as the starting material. The crystal structure consists of hydrogen-bonded chains of mol-ecules running parallel to the a axis. There are no unusual packing features.

Project description:In the title compound, C19H25N5O2, the morpholine ring has a chair conformation. The plane of the central benzene ring makes dihedral angles of 88.75?(12) and 60.02?(7)°, respectively, with the mean plane formed by the four planar C atoms of the morpholine ring and with the plane of the triazole ring. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via C-H?? inter-actions, forming slabs lying parallel to (10-1). The C atoms of the bridging ethyl-ene group, between the morpholine and benzene rings, and the terminal ethene group of the prop-1-ene substituent attached to the triazole ring, are disordered over two sets of sites, with an occupancy ratio of 0.634?(13):0.366?(13).

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C18H16N4OS, contains two independent mol-ecules of similar conformation, the most relevant difference being the dihedral angle formed by the benzene rings [57.8?(2) and 52.7?(2)°]. The six-membered heterocycle of the benzo-thia-zine fragment exhibits a screw-boat conformation in both mol-ecules. The plane through the triazole ring is nearly perpendicular to those through the fused and terminal benzene rings [dihedral angles of 74.2?(2) and 83.2?(2)° in one mol-ecule, and 77.8?(2) and 82.9?(2)° in the other]. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H?N and C-H?O hydrogen bonds into chains parallel to the a-axis direction. The crystal used was a non-merohedral twin, the refined ratio of twin components being 0.85?(10):15?(10).

The related crystallographic twofold axis bis-ects the central ethane bond while it is parallel to the monoclinic unique axis of the unit cell. The dithiole=C-C=dithiole torsion angle is 103.7?(4)° and the triazole-anthracene moieties adopt a pincer-like conformation. The crystal structure features C-H?S and C-H?N contacts. The distance between the stacked anthracene fragments [centroid-centroid separations of 3.6871?(19)?Å, off-set by 1.516?(3)?Å and mean anthracene plane-plane separations of 3.361?(2)?Å], which are parallel to (101) and (-101), indicates inter-molecular anthracene-anthracene ?-? contacts. One of the terminal methyl-sulfanyl groups was modelled as being disordered with two refined orientations that converged to occupancies of 0.809?(5) and 0.191?(5).

Project description:An efficient and practical method was developed for the synthesis of new (1,2,3triazol4yl)methyl phosphinates and (1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methyl phosphates by the copper(I)catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) of organic azides and prop-2-ynyl phosphinate or prop-2-ynyl phosphate. The synthesis of (1benzyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methyl diphenylphosphinate was optimized with respect to the reaction parameters, such as the temperature, reaction time, and catalyst loading. The approach was applied to a range of organic azides, which confirmed the wide scope and the substituent tolerance of the process. The method elaborated represents a novel approach for the synthesis of the target compounds.

The morpholine rings of both mol-ecules adopt distorted chair conformations. The dihedral angles between the triazole and benzene rings are 12.8?(3)° in the first independent molecule in which the -N=C- group between the morpholine and benzene rings is disordered [site-occupancy ratio = 0.576?(7):0.424?(7)] and 88.1?(2)° in the second independent mol-ecule. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H?N hydrogen bonds along the [100] direction. In addition, one weak C-H?? inter-action and two weak ?-? stacking inter-actions [centroid-centroid distances = 3.840?(3) and 3.823?(2)?Å] between the triazole rings of adjacent mol-ecules are observed. The atoms of the terminal propenyl groups in both mol-ecules are disordered over two sets of sites [site-occupancy ratios = 0.691?(10):0.309?(10) and 0.705?(15):0.295?(15)].
