2,2'-[1-(2,4,6-Trichlorophenyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazole-3,5-diyl]diphenol.

ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(20)H(12)Cl(3)N(3)O(2), was synthesized by the reaction of 2-(2-hydroxy-phen-yl)benz[e][1,3]oxazin-4-one with 2,4,6-trichloro-phenyl-hydrazine in ethanol. The trichloro-phenyl ring is nearly perpendicular to the triazole plane [dihedral angle 80.56?(8)°], whereas the two hydroxy-phenyl rings are approximately coplanar with the triazole ring [dihedral angles of 2.79?(12) and 8.00?(14)°]. Intra-molecular O-H?N hydrogen bonding is observed between the hydroxy-phenyl and triazole rings.

The title compound, C(20)H(12)Cl(3)N(3)O(2), was synthesized by the reaction of 2-(2-hydroxy-phen-yl)benz[e][1,3]oxazin-4-one with 2,4,6-trichloro-phenyl-hydrazine in ethanol. Project description:The structure of the title compound, C(14)H(12)N(4)O(2), was determined as part of a project on the coordination chemistry of 1,2,4-triazole derivatives. In the crystal structure, one of the two benzene rings is almost coplanar with the five-membered triazole ring (mean deviation = 0.019?Å), whereas the second benzene ring is rotated by 51.973?(2)°. The two N-C-N-N torsion angles [170.365?(2) and -170.942?(3)°] indicate that the amido group is slightly twisted away from the triazole plane. An intra-molecular O-H?N hydrogen bond occurs. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular N-H?O and O-H?N hydrogen bonding is found.

Project description:In the title compound, C(16)H(15)N(3)O(2)·H(2)O, the two benzene rings and the triazole ring lie almost in the same plane, the triazole ring forming dihedral angles of 5.07?(9) and 5.80?(8)° with the benzene rings. In the crystal, there are three relatively strong inter-molecular O-H?N and N-H?O hydrogen bonds, which lead to the formation of a one-dimensional double chain running parallel to the a axis. Weak ?-? inter-actions between the benzene rings of neighboring chains with a centroid-centroid distance of 3.893?(4)?Å result in the formation of layers parallel to the ac plane.

Project description:In the title compound, C(15)H(15)N(5)O(4)S(2), the dihedral angles between the central 1,2,4-triazole ring and the pendant benzene rings are 55.61?(10) and 68.59?(10)°; the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 63.66?(9)°. Intra-molecular N-H?N and N-H?O hydrogen bonds generate S(7) and S(12) rings, respectively. In the crystal, sheets extending in the (101) plane arise, with the mol-ecules linked by C-H?O, N-H?N and N-H?O inter-actions. A C-H?? inter-action further consolidates the structure.

In the monomeric compound, the Cu(II) atom is five-coordinated in a square-pyramidal configuration by one O atom and one N atom from one 1H-1,2,4-triazole-3,5-dicarboxyl-ate (TZDCA(2-)) ligand and three O atoms from water mol-ecules. In the centrosymmetric binuclear complex, each Cu(II) atom is six-coordinated in an octa-hedral geometry by one O atom and one N atom from one TZDCA(2-) ligand and four O atoms from water mol-ecules, two of which bridge the Cu(II) atoms. In the structure, there are intra-molecular O-H?O and N-H?O hydrogen bonds, and in the crystal, inter-molecular O-H?O, O-H?N and N-H?O hydrogen bonds link symmetry-related mol-ecules, forming a three-dimensional supra-molecular structure.

Project description:In the title compound, [Zn(C(4)HN(3)O(4))(H(2)O)(3)](n), each Zn(II) atom adopts a distorted octa-hedral coordination geometry, being surrounded by one chelating and one monodentate 1H-1,2,4-triazole-3,5-dicarboxyl-ate ligand and three water mol-ecules. Adjacent Zn(II) cations are linked by a 1H-1,2,4-triazole-3,5-dicarboxyl-ate ligand in a μ(2),κ(3) fashion to form a chain running along the c axis. Project description:The title compound, C(21)H(16)N(2)O(2), was derived from 1-(2-hydroxy-phen-yl)-3-(-methoxy-phen-yl)propane-1,3-dione. The mol-ecular structure of the title compound is stabilized by an intra-molecular O-H?N hydrogen bond. The dihedral angle between the hydroxy-phenyl ring involved in this intra-molecular hydrogen bond and the pyrazole ring is significantly smaller [10.07?(6)°] than the dihedral angle between the pyrazole and the other hydroxy-phenyl ring [36.64?(5)°]. The two 2-hy-droxy-3-methyl-benzyl groups are located in trans positions with respect to the imidazolidine fragment. The structure displays two intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, which each form an S(6) ring motif. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are linked by weak C-H⋯O inter-actions with a bifurcated acceptor, forming a three-dimensional network.
