ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(18)H(17)N(3)O(4), the furyl and phenyl rings are inclined at almost right angles [85.77 (7) and 63.25 (7)°, respectively] to the central imidazo[1,2-a]pyridinyl unit. The structure displays both inter- and intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonding.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C19H19N3O4, contains two mol-ecules with very few conformational differences; a C atom in the pyrimidine ring in one of the mol-ecules is disordered in a 0.688 (15):0.312 (15) ratio. In both mol-ecules, the fused pyridine and pyrimidine rings adopt half-chair conformations. The dihedral angles between the furan and benzene rings are 81.00 (13) and 84.99 (10)° in the two mol-ecules. The mol-ecular structure is consolidated by intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonding. In the crystal, C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds connect the molecules into a three-dimensional network.

Project description:In the title compound, C32H28N2O, the imidazolidine and pyridine rings of the central hexa-hydro-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine ring system adopt envelope and screw-boat conformations, respectively. The mol-ecule exhibits two weak intra-molecular π-π inter-actions between phenyl rings. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via pairs of C-H⋯ O hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers. The dimers are further linked by pairs of C-H⋯π inter-actions, forming infinite chains along the c-axis direction. A Hirshfeld surface analysis indicates that the most important contributions to the crystal packing are from H⋯H (73.4%), C⋯H/H⋯C (18.8%) and O⋯H/H⋯O (5.7%) contacts. The contribution of some disordered solvent to the scattering was removed using the SQUEEZE routine [Spek (2015 ▸). Acta Cryst. C71, 9-18] in PLATON. The solvent contribution was not included in the reported mol-ecular weight and density.

Project description:In the title compound, C22H17N5·CH4O, the imidazolidine ring of the 1,2,3,5,6,7-hexa-hydro-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine ring system is a twisted envelope, while the 1,2,3,4-tetra-hydro-pyridine ring adopts a twisted boat conformation. In the crystal, pairs of mol-ecules are linked by O-H⋯N and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds via two methanol mol-ecules, forming a centrosymmetric R 4 4(16) ring motif. These motifs are connected to each other by C-H⋯N hydrogen bonds and form columns along the a axis. The columns form a stable mol-ecular packing, being connected to each other by van der Waals inter-actions. A Hirshfeld surface analysis indicates that the most significant contributions to the crystal packing are from H⋯H (43.8%), N⋯H/H⋯N (31.7%) and C⋯H/H⋯C (18.4%) contacts.

Project description:In the title pyrazole compound, C(20)H(13)N(3)O(4), an intra-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bond generates a seven-membered ring, producing an S(7) ring motif. The essentially planar furan and pyrazole rings [maximum deviations of 0.002 (1) and 0.007 (1) Å, respectively] are coplanar with each other, forming a dihedral angle of 3.06 (10)°. The pyrazole ring forms dihedral angles of 8.51 (9) and 56.81 (9)° with the two benzene rings. The nitro group is coplanar with the attached furan ring, as indicated by the dihedral angle of 2.5 (3)°. In the crystal packing, inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link adjacent mol-ecules into two-mol-ecule-wide chains along the a axis. The crystal packing is further stabilized by weak inter-molecular C-H⋯π and π-π inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.4441 (10) Å].
