(E)-N'-[1-(4-Bromo-phen-yl)ethyl-idene]-2-hydroxy-benzohydrazide.

ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(15)H(13)BrN(2)O(2), the two aromatic rings form a dihedral angle of 7.9?(1)° and an intra-molecular N-H?O hydrogen bond influences the mol-ecular conformation. In the crystal, inter-molecular O-H?O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into chains propagated in [001]. The crystal packing exhibits also ?-? inter-actions, which pair mol-ecules into centrosymmetric dimers with short inter-molecular distances of 3.671?(4)?Å between the centroids of aromatic rings.
