ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(20)H(18)N(2) (2+)·2Br(-)·2H(2)O, the complete dication is generated by a crystallographic centre of symmetry. In the crystal, O-H⋯Br, C-H⋯Br and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking [shortest centroid-centroid separation = 3.657 (2) Å] help to establish the packing.
