ABSTRACT: In the title salt, C(6)H(10)N(2) (2+)·2C(7)H(5)O(6)S(-), the negative charge of the anion resides on the sulfonate group. In the crystal, the cations and anions are -linked by N-H?O and O-H?O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network. The complete dication is generated by crystallographic twofold symmetry.

These chains inter-associate through a number of N(+)-H⋯O and O-H⋯O bridging inter-actions, giving a two-dimensional array in the ab plane.
