ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(17)H(16)ClN(5)·C(3)H(7)NO, was prepared by reaction of p-toluidine with 2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine at room temperature. The dihedral angles between the triazine ring and the pendant rings are 3.61?(12) and 53.11?(12)°. An intra-molecular C-H?N inter-action occurs. The packing is stabilized by N-H?N and N-H?O hydrogen bonds and C-H?? and ?-? [centroid-centroid distance = 3.763?(1)?Å] inter-actions.
