ABSTRACT: In the title compound C(18)H(14)N(2)O, the pendant rings make dihedral angles of 66.1?(1)° and 13.9?(1) with the central ring. In the crystal, two mol-ecules form a cyclic centrosymmetric R(2) (2)(22) dimer through pairs of C-H?O bonds. These dimers are further connected into zigzag chains extending along the b axis through C-H?? and C-H?O inter-actions.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(27)H(24)N(4)O(2)·0.5C(2)H(6)O, comprises two crystallographically independent mol-ecules (A and B) with slightly different conformations, and one ethanol mol-ecule of crystallization. Intra-molecular C-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds generate six- and eight-membered rings, producing S(6) and S(8) ring motifs, respectively. In mol-ecule A, one of the benzene rings is disordered over two positions, with site-occupancy factors of 0.542 (11) and 0.458 (11). The dihedral angles between the central benzene ring and the two outer benzene rings are 73.88 (9) and 82.6 (2)/88.9 (2)° in mol-ecule A, and 80.81 (8) and 79.38 (8)° in mol-ecule B. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules form infinite one-dimensional chains in the (101) plane. The crystal structure is stabilized by inter-molecular O-H⋯N, N-H⋯N, N-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, weak C-H⋯π and π-π [centroid-centroid = 3.5496 (1) Å] inter-actions.

Project description:In the the title compound, C(27)H(23)ClN(4)O(2), the chloro-phenyl ring forms dihedral angles of 77.70 (9) and 86.65 (9)°, respectively, with the pyrazol-3-one and pyrazole rings. The phenyl rings attached to the pyrazole rings are twisted away from them [dihedral angles 33.80 (9) and 40.34 (10)°]. An intramolecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bond generates an S(8) ring motif. The mol-ecules are linked into chains running along the c axis by N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, and the chains are cross-linked via C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C-H⋯π inter-actions involving the chloro-phenyl ring.

Project description:The mol-ecular conformation of the title compound, C(20)H(17)N(3), is stabilized by an intramolecular C-H?N inter-action. The crystal structure shows inter-molecular C-H?? inter-actions. The dihedral angle between the isoquinoline unit and the phenyl ring is 11.42?(1)° whereas the isoquinoline unit and the pendent dimethyl pryrazole unit form a dihedral angle of 50.1?(4)°. Project description:In the title mol-ecule, C(22)H(21)N(3), the isoquinoline ring is almost planar [maximum deviation = 0.046?(1)?Å] and makes dihedral angles of 52.01?(4) and 14.61?(4)° with the pyrazole and phenyl rings, respectively. The phenyl ring and the pyrazole ring are twisted by 44.20?(6)° with respect to each other. The terminal C atoms of both of the ethyl groups attached to the pyrazole ring are disordered over two sites with occupancy ratios of 0.164?(7):0.836?(7) and 0.447?(16):0.553?(16). A weak intra-molecular C-H?N contact may influence the mol-ecular conformation. Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(13)H(16)N(2)OS, contains two independent mol-ecules (A and B). The pyrazole ring [maximum deviations = 0.0049 (17) Å in mol-ecule A and 0.0112 (19) Å in mol-ecule B] makes a dihedral angle of 70.23 (11) and 73.18 (12)° with the phenyl ring in mol-ecules A and B, respectively. The isobutyl group in mol-ecule B is disordered over two sets of sites with a ratio of refined occupancies of 0.858 (5):0.142 (5). Project description:The first crystal structure of a second-generation tris-(pyrazol-yl)methane, namely the title compound, C(31)H(28)N(6), is reported. The mol-ecule exhibits a helical conformation with an average twist of 35.1°. In addition, there are C-H⋯π inter-actions of 3.202 (2) Å between the pyrazole C-H group and neighbouring phenyl groups.

The mol-ecule adopts an E configuration about the central C=N double bond. A weak intra-molecular C-H?O hydrogen bond generates an S(6) ring motif. The dihedral angle between the pyrazole rings is 24.72?(10)° and the dihedral angles between the pyrazole rings and the adjacent phenyl rings are 58.67?(10) and 46.58?(11)°. The crystal structure is stabilized by weak C-H?? inter-actions involving the pyrazolone and phenyl rings.

Project description:The title compound, C(25)H(20)N(4)O(2), is a ditopic ortho-hydro-quinone-based bis-(pyrazol-1-yl)methane ligand. The dihedral angles between the planes of the pyrazole rings and their attached phenyl rings are 17.4?(3) and 5.9?(4)°. The pyrazole rings make a dihedral angle of 87.84?(16)°. One of the two hy-droxy groups forms an intra-molecular hydrogen bond to the other hy-droxy group, whereas the second is involved in an inter-molecular O-H?N hydrogen bond. As a result of these inter-molecular hydrogen bonds, helical chains running along the b axis are formed.
