Hereditary recurrent fevers (HRF) are rare diseases caused by molecular defects in genes involved in the regulation of innate immunity. Sixty-seven international laboratories participated in an external quality assessment (EQA) scheme, which was developed to appraise the accuracy of genetic testing.
