The mol-ecular packing is stabilized by C-H⋯π inter-actions between H atoms on the 4-iodo-phenyl ring and the benzofuran rings, and by an I⋯O halogen bond of 3.252 (2) Å with a nearly linear C-I⋯O angle of 163.06 (8)°. In addition, the stacked mol-ecules exhibit inversion-related S⋯O contacts [3.209 (2) Å] involving the sulfinyl groups.
