ABSTRACT: The crystal structure of the title compound, (C(6)H(12)N(5)O)(4)[W(12)(SiO(4))O(36)]·6H(2)O, consists of an ?-Keggin-type [W(12)(SiO(4))O(36)](4-) polyoxidoanion, four [(2H-tetra-zol-5-yl)meth-yl]morpholinium cations and six uncoordinated water mol-ecules. In the cations, the morpholine rings display chair conformations. Extensive N-H?O, N-H?N, O-H?O and O-H?N hydrogen bonds are present in the crystal structure.

Project description:The title heteropolyoxidotungstate-based inorganic-organic hybrid material, (C(6)H(12)N(5)O)(3)[W(12)(PO(4))O(36)]·6H(2)O, consists of one α-Keggin-type [W(12)(PO(4))O(36)](3-) polyoxidometalate anion (POM), three crystallographically independent 4-[(2H-tetra-zol-5-yl)meth-yl]morpholinium cations and six water mol-ecules of crystallization. The morpholine ring of the cation adopts a chair conformation. The anion shows characteristic features with respect to bond lengths and angles. An extensive network of N-H⋯O, N-H⋯N, O-H⋯O and O-H⋯N hydrogen-bonding inter-actions between the organic cations, inorganic anion and the crystal water mol-ecules lead to a three-dimensional structure. Moreover, six uncoordinated water mol-ecules increase the number of hydrogen bonds in the network and lead to the formation of (H(2)O)(∞) clusters.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title mol-ecular salt, C(19)H(15)N(4) (+)·I(-), contains four 2,3,5-triphenyl-2H-tetra-zol-3-ium cations and five iodide anions, with two of the latter lying on crystallographic inversion centres. In each cation, the tetra-zole ring is essentially planar (r.m.s. deviations = 0.004-0.007?Å). The dihedral angles between the tetra-zole ring and its three attached benzene rings in the four independent cations are: 12.9?(4), 67.0?(4), 48.1?(4); 20.8?(4), 51.1?(4), 62.3?(4); 11.4?(4), 52.3?(4), 47.3?(4) and 6.0?(4), 85.7?(4), 43.5?(4)°. A C-H?I hydrogen bond and C-H?? inter-actions are observed in the crystal.

Project description:The title compound, (C(3)H(7)N(6))(4)[Ca(C(7)H(3)NO(4))(3)]·6H(2)O or (tataH)(4)[Ca(pydc)(3)]·6H(2)O (where tata is 2,4,6-triamino-1,3,5-triazine and pydcH(2) is pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid), was obtained by reaction of Ca(NO(3))(2)·4H(2)O with the proton-transfer compound (tataH)(2)(pydc) in aqueous solution. The [Ca(pydc)(3)](4-) anion has twofold crystallographic symmetry. It is a nine-coordinate Ca(II) complex with a distorted tricapped trigonal-prismatic coordination geometry. The structure also contains four tataH(+) cations and six uncoordinated water mol-ecules. There are extensive O-H⋯O, O-H⋯N, N-H⋯O, N-H⋯N and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds in the crystal structure.

Project description:In the title compound, C(6)H(6)N(5) (+)·NO(3) (-), there are two different isomers of the cation within the asymmetric unit. The dihedral angles between the the pyridinium and tetra-zole rings are 2.54?(15) and 13.36?(18)° in the two cations. In the crystal, the packing of ions is stabilized by N-H?O and N-H?(O,O) hydrogen bonds, forming clusters composed of four ion pairs.

Project description:The tetra-nuclear copper(II) title complex, [Cu(4)Cl(2)(OH)(4)(C(10)H(8)N(2))(4)](NO(3))(2)·6H(2)O, has a crystallographically imposed centre of symmetry. The metal atoms display a distorted tetragonal-pyramidal coordination geometry, and are linked by two ?(2)- and two ?(3)-hydroxo groups, assuming a chair-like conformation for the Cu(4)O(2) core. In the crystal, the complex mol-ecules are linked into a three-dimensional network by inter-molecular O-H?O, O-H?Cl, C-H?O and C-H?Cl hydrogen bonds and ?-? stacking inter-actions with centroid-centroid separations of 3.724?(2) and 3.767?(3)?Å.
