The title compound, C(13)H(11)BrN(2)O, is a polydentate Schiff base and reveals intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bonding between the hy-droxy O atom and the imino N atom. The dihedral angle between the aromatic ring and the pyridyl ring is 71.7 (1)°. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are stacked in columns along the c axis and several inter-molecular π-π inter-actions are present between the six-membered rings, with a shortest centroid-centroid distance of 3.707 (2) Å. ...[more]
