ABSTRACT: In the anion of the title salt, C(3)H(10)N(+)·C(9)H(3)Cl(4)O(4) (-), the meth-oxy-carbonyl and carboxyl groups are aligned at dihedral angles of 57.8?(3) and 62.5?(3)°, respectively, with the aromatic ring. In the crystal, the cations and anions are linked by N-H?O hydrogen bonds, generating chains running aong the c axis.
