ABSTRACT: In the title compound, [Li(2)(CF(3)SO(2)NSO(2)CF(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)](n), two Li(+) cations reside on crystallographic inversion centers, each coordinated by six O atoms from bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (TFSI(-)) anions. The third Li(+) cation on a general position is four-coordinated by two anion O atoms and two N atoms from acetonitrile mol-ecules in a tetra-hedral geometry.

Project description:The title compound, [Fe(CF3SO3)2(C4H8O)4], is octa-hedral with two tri-fluoro-methane-sulfonate ligands in trans positions and four tetra-hydro-furane mol-ecules in the equatorial plane. By the conformation of the ligands the complex is chiral in the crystal packing. The compound crystallizes in the Sohncke space group P212121 and is enanti-omerically pure. The packing of the mol-ecules is determined by weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. The crystal studied was refined as a two-component inversion twin.

Project description:In the title compound, [Cu(ClO(4))(C(2)H(3)N)(C(15)H(19)N(3)O)]ClO(4), the Cu(II) ion is coordinated by three N atoms and a hydroxyl-O atom of the tetra-dentate ligand, an O atom of a perchlorate ion and an N atom of an acetonitrile ligand giving a tetra-gonally distorted octa-hedral environment around the copper(II) atom. There is an offset inter-complex face-to-face π-π inter-action [centroid-centroid distance = 3.718 (2) Å] involving one of the pyridine rings of the ligand as well as an intra-complex O-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding inter-action between the coordinated hydroxyl group of the ligand and the perchlorate counter-ion.

Crystal structure of bis-(acetyl-acetonato-κ(2) O,O')(tetra-hydro-furan-κO)(tri-fluoro-methane-sulfonato-κO)iron(III).

Project description:The mononuclear title complex, [Fe(CF3O3S)(C5H7O2)2(C4H8O)] or [Fe(acac)2(OTf)(THF)] (acac = acetyl-acetonate; OTf = tri-fluoro-methane-sulfon-ate; THF = tetrahydrofuran), (I), consists of one six-coordinate Fe(3+) atom in a slightly distorted octa-hedral environment [Fe-O bond-length range = 1.9517 (11)-2.0781 (11) Å]. The triflate ligand was found to be disordered over two sets of sites, with a site-occupancy ratio of 0.622 (16):0.378 (16). Weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O and C-H⋯F hydrogen-bonding inter-actions generate a two-dimensional supra-molecular structure lying parallel to (100). This is only the second crystal structure reported of a mononuclear bis-(acetyl-acetonato)iron(III) complex.

Project description:In the mononuclear Ni(II) title complex, [Ni(C(7)H(4)FO(2))(2)(C(6)H(6)N(2)O)(2)(H(2)O)(2)], the Ni(II) atom, located on an inversion center, is coordinated by two nicotinamide and two 4-fluoro-benzoate ligands and two water mol-ecules in a distorted N(2)O(4) octa-hedral geometry. The dihedral angle between the carboxyl-ate group and the adjacent benzene ring is 8.95 (8)°, while the pyridine ring and the benzene ring are oriented at a dihedral angle of 75.01 (7)°. The water mol-ecule links the adjacent carboxyl-ate O atom via an intra-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bond. In the crystal, O-H⋯O, N-H⋯O, C-H⋯O and C-H⋯F hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into a three-dimensional network. π-π stacking between parallel pyridine rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.7287 (11) Å] is also observed.

Project description:In the title compound, [Ni(C(8)F(4)O(4))(C(5)H(5)N)(2)(CH(4)O)(2)](n), the Ni(II) ion is located on an inversion center and is coordinated by four O atoms [Ni-O = 2.079 (4) Å] from two tetra-fluoro-terephthalate ligands and two methanol mol-ecules, and by two N atoms [Ni-N = 2.127 (4) Å] from two pyridine ligands in a distorted octa-hedral geometry. The Ni(II) ions are connected via the tetra-fluoro-terephthalate anions into a one-dimensional chain running along the crystallographic [011] direction.

Project description:The title compound, [Ru(C(10)H(15))(NO)(HOCH(2)CH(2)OH)](CF(3)SO(3))(2), possesses a three-legged piano-stool geometry around the Ru atom, with an average Ru-O distance of 2.120 (6) Å and an Ru-N-O angle of 159.45 (14)°. The ethyl-eneglycol ligand forms a non-planar metallacyclic ring by chelating the Ru atom via the O atoms. The O⋯O distances of 2.554 (2) and 2.568 (2) Å are indicative of hydrogen bonding between coordinated ethyl-eneglycol and outer-sphere trifluoro-methane-sulfonate fragments. The crystal packing is stabilized by ionic forces and several CH(3)⋯·F (2.585 and 2.640 Å) and CH(3)⋯O inter-actions (2.391, 2.678, 2.694 and 2.699 Å) between the penta-methyl-cyclo-penta-dienyl ligand and trifluoro-methane-sulfonate anion. There is noticeable short inter-molecular contact [2.9039 (16) Å], between an O atom of the SO(3) group and a C atom of the penta-methyl-cyclo-penta-dienyl ligand.

Project description:In the asymmetric unit of the title salt, C14H18N2O(2+)·2CF3O3S(-), the components are linked by two N-H?O and one C-H?O hydrogen bonds. The dipyridinium salt demonstrates a skew conformation based upon C-O-C-C torsion angles of 61.5?(3) and 15.1?(4)°. A C-O-C angle of 119.3?(2)° and C-O bond distances of 1.364?(3) and 1.389?(3)?Å are consistent with other dipyridyl ethers. The planes of the pyridyl rings exhibit a twist angle of 67.89?(8)°. One of the tri-fluoro-methane-sulfonate ions shows disorder of the F atoms [in a 0.52?(7):0.48?(7) occupancy ratio] and an O atom [0.64?(8):0.36?(8) occupancy ratio]. In the crystal, the components are linked by C-H?O inter-actions, which form chains along [101].

Project description:In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Cu(HCO(2))(C(7)H(8)N(4))(2)]ClO(4), the Cu(II) ion is octa-hedrally coordinated by one bidentate formate ion and two bidentate bis-(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methane ligands. There are C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π-π inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.487 (3) Å] in the crystal structure. The perchlorate anion is disordered over two positions with an occupancy ratio of 0.628 (9):0.372 (9).

Project description:In the title compound, [Cu(SO(4))(C(10)H(9)NO(2))(2)]·2H(2)O, the Cu(II) ion is chelated by two (2-quinol-yl)methane-diol ligands and coordinated by a monodentate sulfate ligand in a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal environment, with O atoms occupying the equatorial sites and N atoms in the axial sites. The dihedral angle between the two essentially planar quinoline ring systems is 45.02 (9)°. Project description:In the title dinuclear In(III) compound, [In(2)(SO(4))(3)(C(12)H(8)N(2))(2)(H(2)O)(2)]·2H(2)O, each In(III) cation is coordinated by a 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) ligand, a water mol-ecule and three sulfate O atoms in a distorted InN(2)O(4) octa-hedral geometry. Three sulfate anions bridge two In(III) cations, forming the dinuclear entities. O-H⋯O and weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonding is observed in the crystal structure. The crystal structure is further consolidated by π-π stacking between nearly parallel phen ring systems [dihedral angle = 4.2 (4)°], the centroid-centroid distance between benzene rings of adjacent phen ligands being 3.528 (9) Å.
