(η-All-yl)bromido(1-phenyl-1H-imidazole-κN)palladium(II).

ABSTRACT: The title compound, [PdBr(C(3)H(5))(C(9)H(8)N(2))], was synthesized by the reaction of the allyl-palladium(II) bromide dimer and 1-phenyl-1H-imidazole. The Pd atom is coordinated by one allyl group [in η(3) mode, the central CH group of the allyl group is disordered over two sets of sites in a 0.668 (5):0.332 (5) ratio], one bromide anion and a 1-phenyl-1H-imidazole ligand. Intra-molecular face-to-face π-π stacking inter-actions occur between adjacent phenyl or imidazole groups, with centroid-centroid distances in the range 3.877 (1)-3.6596 (6) Å, forming a supra-molecular chain along [100].

Project description:In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Mn(C(3)H(4)N(2))(6)][Mn(C(3)H(4)N(2))(3)(H(2)O)(3)](C(12)H(6)O(4))(2), there are uncoordinated naphthalene-dicarboxyl-ate dianions and two kinds of Mn(II) complex cations, both assuming a distorted octa-hedral geometry. One Mn(II) cation is located on an inversion center and is coordinated by six imidazole mol-ecules, while the other Mn(II) cation is located on a twofold rotation axis and is coordinated by three water mol-ecules and three imidazole units. The naphthalene-dicarboxyl-ate dianions are linked to both Mn(II) complex cations via O-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonding, but no π-π stacking is observed between aromatic rings in the crystal structure.

Project description:The title compound, [Mn(C(18)H(12)N(4)O(2))(C(4)H(6)N(2))(2)], belongs to the family of 1,2-bis-(pyridine-2-carboxamido)benzene (H(2)bpb) ligated metal complexes. The manganese center is octa-hedrally coordinated by a bpb ligand and two axial 1-methyl-imidazole mol-ecules. The axial N-Mn-N group is bent with a bond angle of 151.79 (7)°.

Project description:In the title complex, [PdBr2(C28H28P2)], the Pd(II) ion has a distorted cis-Br2P2 square-planar coordination geometry defined by two P atoms from the chelating 1,4-bis-(di-phenyl-phosphan-yl)butane ligand and two Br(-) anions. The four phenyl rings are inclined to the least-squares plane of the PdBr2P2 unit [maximum deviation = 0.1294 (7) Å], making dihedral angles of 66.3 (2), 87.2 (2), 68.8 (2) and 86.8 (2)°. The butyl-ene chain is in a gauche conformation, with a C-C-C-C torsion angle of 57.0 (8)°. Inter-molecular C-H⋯Br hydrogen bonds link the complex mol-ecules into supra-molecular layers in the ab plane. Weak π-π inter-actions, both intra- and inter-molecular [shortest inter-centroid distance = 4.598 (5) Å], are also noted in the three-dimensional architecture.

The crystal structure is stabilized by inter-molecular C-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π-π inter-actions with a centroid-centroid distance of 3.6136 (16) Å.

Project description:In the title compound, [Pd(C(9)H(12)N)Cl(C(4)H(6)N(2))], which was synthesized from the reaction of 1-methyl-imidazole with dimeric dichloridobis[2-(dimethyl-amino)-benz-yl]palla-dium(II), the ring-deprotonated N,N-dimethyl-benzyl-amine ligand acts in a C,N-bidentate fashion. The dihedral angle between the ring of the 1-methyl-imidazole ligand and the palladacycle plane is 57.88?(16)°. The two N atoms from the N,N-dimethyl-benzyl-amine and 1-methyl-imidazole ligands are trans coordinated to the Pd(II) atom.

Project description:In the title compound, [PdCl(2)(C(19)H(15)N(3))], the Pd(II) centre is four-coordinated by two N-atom donors from one 1-[3-(2-pyrid-yl)pyrazol-1-ylmeth-yl]naphthalene (L) ligand and by two Cl atoms in a distorted square-planar coordination geometry. In the crystal structure, adjacent Pd(II) mononuclear units form inter-molecular C-H⋯π inter-actions involving the benzene and pyridine rings of different L ligands and π-π stacking inter-actions between the pyrazolyl-pyridine and naphthalene rings of neighbouring L ligands, with a centroid-centroid separation of 3.522 (1) Å.

Project description:In the title complex, [CuCl2(C12H14N2)2], the Cu(2+) cation is situated on an inversion centre and is coordinated by two N atoms from symmetry-related 1-mesityl-1H-imidazole ligands and by two chloride anions in a slightly distorted square-planar geometry. In the organic ligand, the dihedral angle between the benzene ring of the mesityl moiety and the imidazole ring is 76.99 (18)°. Weak intra-molecular C-H⋯Cl hydrogen-bonding inter-actions consolidate the mol-ecular conformation.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title complex, [PdCl(2)(C(11)H(9)N)(2)], contains one half of a neutral Pd(II) complex, with the complete mol-ecule generated by the application of a twofold rotation axis; the N-Pd-N atoms lie on the axis. The Pd(II) ion has a trans-Cl(2)N(2) square-planar coordination geometry defined by two N atoms from two 4-phenyl-pyridine ligands and two Cl(-) anions. In the refinement, the pyridine ring and the phenyl ring were found to be disordered over two sites with the site-occupancy factors being 0.53 (2) and 0.51 (1), respectively, for the major components.
