Methyl 9-diethyl-amino-2,2-bis-(4-meth-oxy-phen-yl)-2H-benzo[h]chromene-5-carboxyl-ate.

ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(31)H(29)NO(5), the methyl carboxyl-ate and dimethyl-amino groups on the naphtho-pyran group are almost coplanar with the naphtho-pyran ring system [r.m.s. deviations = 0.08?(2) and 0.161?(2)?Å, respectively]. The dihedral angle between the methyl carboxyl-ate and dimethyl-amino groups is 4.9?(1)°. The pyran ring has an envelope conformation with the quaternary C atom out of plane by 0.4739?(13)?Å. The meth-oxy-phenyl substituent forms a dihedral angle of 16.6?(1)° with the plane of the benzene ring, while the other meth-oxy-phenyl group is almost coplanar, making a dihedral angle of 1.4?(1)°.

Project description:In the title compound, C(23)H(20)FNO(4), the fluoro-substituted benzene ring is approximately perpendicular to the mean plane of the 4H-benzo[h]chromene ring system [maximum deviation = 0.264?(1)?Å], with a dihedral angle of 83.79?(6)°. The pyran ring adopts a flattened boat conformation. The meth-oxy group is slightly twisted from the attached benzene ring of the 4H-benzo[h]chromene moiety [C-O-C-C = -2.1?(2)°]. An intra-molecular N-H?O hydrogen bond generates an S(6) ring motif. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by N-H?O and N-H?F hydrogen bonds into a layer parallel to the bc plane. Project description:In the title compound, C23H20BrNO4, the pyran ring has a flattened boat conformation with the O and methine C atoms lying to one side of the plane [0.160?(5) and 0.256?(6)?Å, respectively] defined by the remaining atoms. Nevertheless, the 4H-benzo[h]chromene ring system approximates a plane (r.m.s. deviation = 0.116?Å) with the bromo-benzene ring almost perpendicular [dihedral angle = 83.27?(16)°] and the ester group coplanar [C-C-C-O = 3.4?(5)°]; the meth-oxy substituent is also coplanar [C-O-C-C = 174.5?(3)°]. In addition to an intra-molecular N-H?O(ester carbon-yl) hydrogen bond, the ester carbonyl O atom also forms an inter-molecular N-H?O hydrogen bond with the second amine H atom, generating a zigzag supra-molecular chain along the c axis in the crystal packing. The chains are linked into layers in the bc plane by N-H?Br hydrogen bonds, and these layers are consolidated into a three-dimensional architecture by C-H?? inter-actions.

Project description:In the title compound, C17H12O5, the dihedral angle between the planes of the coumarin ring system (r.m.s. deviation = 0.015 Å) and the benzene ring is 48.04 (10)°. The central CO2 group subtends a dihedral angle of 27.15 (11)° with the coumarin ring system and 74.86 (13)° with the benzene ring. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯O inter-actions, which generate a three-dimensional network. Very weak C-H⋯π inter-actions are also observed.

Project description:The mol-ecular title compound, C20H22O6, was obtained by the reaction of ethyl 2-hy-droxy-benzoate with 1,2-di-chloro-ethane.
