A total 18 species are described as new: Itauara alexanderisp. n.(Brazil), Itaura bidentatasp. n. (Guyana), Itaura blahnikisp. n. (Brazil) Itaura charlottasp. n. (Brazil), Itaura emiliasp. n. (Brazil), Itaura flintisp. n. (Brazil), Itaura guyanensissp. n. (Guyana), Itaura jamesiisp. n. (Brazil), Itaura juliasp. n. (Brazil), Itaura lucindasp. n. (Brazil), Itaura ovissp. n. (Guyana, Venezuela), Itaura peruensissp. n. (Peru), Itaura rodmanisp. n. (Brazil), Itaura simplexsp. n. (Brazil), Itaura spiralissp. n. (Guyana), Itaura stellasp. n. (Brazil), Itaura tuscisp. n.
