Ethyl 1-[2-(1H-benzotriazol-1-yl)acet-yl]-4-hy-droxy-2,6-diphenyl-1,2,5,6-tetra-hydro-pyridine-3-carboxyl-ate.


ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(28)H(26)N(4)O(4), the tetra-hydro-pyridine ring adopts a boat conformation. The two phenyl rings form dihedral angles of 88.64?(8) and 59.28?(10)° with the best plane through the tetra-hydro-pyridine ring. The dihedral angle between the two phenyl rings is 82.55?(10)°. The benzotriazole ring system is essentially planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.009?(1)?Å from the least-squares plane. The mol-ecular conformation is stabilized by an intra-molecular O-H?O hydrogen bond, generating an S(6) motif.
