Dendritic cells (DC) are highly specialized antigen-presenting cells characterized by the ability to prime T-cell responses. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) are adult stromal progenitor cells displaying immunomodulatory activities including inhibition of DC maturation in vitro.
