ABSTRACT: In the title mol-ecule, C(19)H(20)N(4)OS, the two benzene rings form dihedral angles of 16.2?(1) and 12.0?(1)°, respectively, with the central triazole ring. In the crystal, inter-molecular O-H?N hydrogen bonds link mol-ecules into chains in the [010] direction.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, 2C18H16N4O2·H2O, consists of two organic molecules and one solvent molecule. The symmetry-independent organic mol-ecules have slightly different conformations: the 1,2,4-triazole ring forms dihedral angles of 84.61?(4), 89.68?(5) and 22.38?(6)°, respectively, with the 2-propenecarbocylic, p-tolyl and 4-pyridyl groups in one independent molecule, and 71.35?(4), 82.13?(5) and 24.82?(6)°, respectively, in the second. In the crystal, mol-ecules ralated by the 21 screw axes are assembled via O-H?N and O-H?O hydrogen bonds into infinite chains and these are linked by further O-H?N hydrogen bonds into undulating sheets parallel to the bc plane. Adjacent sheets are connected by weak C-H?O inter-actions, forming a three-dimensional structure.

The 1,2,3-oxadiazol-3-ium ring makes dihedral angles of 10.59?(8) and 73.94?(8)°, respectively, with the 1,2,4-triazole and benzene rings. The mol-ecular structure is stabilized by an intra-molecular C-H?S hydrogen bond, which generates an S(6) ring motif. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into inversion dimers by pairs of inter-molecular N-H?S hydrogen bonds, generating eight-membered R(2) (2)(8) ring motifs. Project description:In the mol-ecule of the title compound, C(15)H(15)NO(2), the aromatic rings are oriented at a dihedral angle of 15.46 (6)°. An intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond results in the formation of a nearly planar six-membered ring [maximum deviation of 0.035 (5) Å for the N atom] which is almost coplanar with the adjacent ring, making a dihedral angle of 0.8 (3)°. The title organic mol-ecule is a phenol-imine tautomer, as evidenced by the C-O, C-N and C-C bond lengths. Mol-ecules are linked by inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds that generate a C(5) chain. C-H⋯π and π-π inter-actions exist in the structure. The π-π inter-action occurs between the phenol ring and its symmetry equivalent at (1 - x, 1 - y, -z), with a centroid-centroid distance of 3.727 (7) Å and a plane-to-plane separation of 3.383 (5) Å, resulting in an offset angle of 24.82 (1)°.
