ABSTRACT: The title compound, [Au(2)Cl(2)(C(30)H(34)N(2)O(4)P(2))]·2C(4)H(8)O, is formed from a bidentate phosphine ligand complexed to two almost linearly coordinated gold(I) atoms [P-Au-Cl = 175.68?(3)?Å]. The nuclei are 3.122?(2)?Å apart. The mol-ecule exhibits a twofold rotation axis.
