ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(17)H(13)N(3)O(2), displays an E configuration about the C=N bond. The mean planes of the pyridine and benzene rings make a dihedral angle of 31.2 (2)°. An intra-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bond is observed. In the crystal, inter-molecular N-H⋯N hydrogen bonding links the mol-ecules into a chain along [101].
