Immune deficiency is one of the best characterized and strongest known risk factors for non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). We studied the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in integrin genes that are important components in human innate immunity and the risk of NHL in a population-based case-control study of women in Connecticut, USA.
